Festschrift in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of
Washington Square Institute for Psychotherapy and Mental Health

This year, in honor of the Fiftieth Anniversary of Washington Square Institute we are pleased to announce a special edition of Issues in Psychoanalytic Psychology, Vol. 32, Nos. 1&2, 2010. This special Festschrift publication is an examination of many diverse issues in contemporary psychoanalysis. Included in this volume are some outstanding papers such as Matthew von Unwerth’s celebratory address on Freud’s creativity and transience; and papers by Makaris and Bergmann which explore the beginnings of psychoanalysis and the cultures from which it originated. Various clinical and theoretical papers complete the volume.
